Today, Evans Plumbing and Sewer Inc. tackled a water main leak for a customer experiencing issues with the main water line feeding their home. After excavating near the water meter box, we found the leak at the shut-off valve inside the meter box. Unfortunately, the valve was seized and couldn't be turned off, so we coordinated with the city to shut off the main water meter.
Once the repair was complete, we thoroughly tested the water line—everything checked out, with no more leaks! Finally, we backfilled the area and reset the water meter box securely in the ground.
